Excursions in the mountains

Bolzano is the starting point for numerous excursions. Thanks to the public transport links close at hand, visitors can reach the most beautiful areas of Alto Adige without having to travel by car.

It is possible to get to nearby Ritten and Jenesien, Val Gardena and Val Badia in the Dolomites, the Puster Valley, the towns of Merano, Brixen, Bruneck and Sterzing, and many other places, all without the stress of traffic and driving.
